It took a village to save sweet Beckham!

 

He came to us emaciated, and on seriously borrowed time due to multiple medical problems. He also had several behavioral issues that had to be addressed before he could find his forever family.

 

There were many people that helped get him on the road to recovery: The good Samaritan that brought Beckham to the shelter (after almost hitting him with his truck while Beckham was running the streets). San Jose Animal Advocates let us know that he was in need of saving. San Jose Animal Care Center’s ability to secure GAP funds to help with medical expenses. Sybl Saisselin gave him a new life through an extensive board and training program at K9-Keep Fit. His foster families, Tricia Barr and family, and before them, Tina Davis-Schaefer and family, and also other SCTW team members that gave him so much support.

 

After almost a year of rehabilitation, and a LOT of TLC, Beckham found his incredible forever family, the Parkers!  Our Tail Wagger is now living the life he always deserved. His days are spent playing, relaxing, cuddling, bird watching while on long walks by the bay, running in the surf at the beach, and being voted Most Popular at his furless siblings school outings.  

 

This is what rescue is all about, and it means the world to SCTW!
